Have had the Winkler family on my mind all week. I love you all. And Im here to help in any way possible. It blows my mind that people who commit some of the worst crimes imaginable are let free due to an unjust judicial system, people who have hurt and killed and raped, walking this earth with you and me. But this young man who was on the verge of doing great things with his career, who loved everyone around him and embraced anyone he met, had his life taken while saving another mans life. I think unfair is the best word to describe it. We cant change what happened. I know we would all like to. Life is unfair. Life is short. All we can do is support the Winkler family through this hard time, but also, take the time to tell your family you love them. Take a few minutes out of your day to call your close friends. Take some time out of your busy week to reach out to people youve lost contact with. Not just your family, any family that has treated you as their own. Tomorrow is never promised.
