Have lived in Sarasota 10 years and still cant believe it. I needed a breather, so I go to the beach for sunset, dinner and a good book. As I sit to relax, I grab two sweet potato chips, eat one, and leave the other one in my fingertips resting on my lap. So I’m staring out at the waves crashing on the shore admiring the beautiful city of which I live…out of no where, I get clawed IN THE FACE by a seagull! I throw the other chip on the ground, start waving my hands frantically like a little girl, and watch about 20 birds swarm around me and fight for the other one. This sucker flew in from behind me and decided to fight me. No blood drawn, but I think I should have charged all surrounding spectators for my reenactment of The Birds. Unreal!
