Have mixed emotions about the Ray Rice thing. Totally against Domestic Violence in any way. He should definitely be punished by Society. That being said, I am concerned about the NFL portion. You have to enforce the Rules as stated and in a consistent manner. I believe the NFL has changed their rules and the way they apply them. With Rice they are going retroactively, which is not right. The NFL seems to treat their players differently at different times. Now they are taking a hard stand which is way past due. But you can not make a new rule today and enforce it back to last February. Until now the toughest penalty ever enforced was against Vick. He got a much tougher penalty for abusing dogs than other players got for abusing women or even having women shot. You have to enforce your own rules in a consistent manner or they mean nothing.
