Have recently received lot of criticisms and questions on why I am against AAP. Came across this amazing comment on a post which exactly describes my stand and thoughts as well. ---------------------------------------------------------- For all the AAP supporters - I do understand from where does all your support for Kejriwal comes from. It is from the patriotic wave for a better India racing in our hearts. The intolerance towards corruption at its peak and swindlers wearing masks of politicians. Indeed, Kejriwal did come up as a white hope in the darkest hour of our fight for a better India. We were all getting tired of corruption, fighting inflation, becoming victims of deception and looking for a direction. Then comes a man who actually takes BOLD steps and incontestably wins our trust and credibility. We were all looking for a leader, whether consciously or subconsciously, who would anticipate and initiate change to fight the current monstrous degree of corruption. I myself was Mr. Kejriwals supporter. I do respect your political stance but i urge you to read through my experience because my only intention is that we all make a collective choice for a better India. Before the Delhi elections, everyone was in praise of Mr. Kejriwal including me. Then, one day this girl comes and requests me to not support Kejriwal as he is a B party of Congress and once he wins he will join hands with Congress. I mocked at her foolishness and unawareness. I wondered how people can be brainwashed to such a degree! Much to my surprise whatever that girl had said came true. This incident lifted my veil of disillusionment and i saw things from a new perspective now. I was still a supporter because i bought Mr. Kejriwals explanation on this alliance but i was OPEN, open to probe the reality. I also happened to realise that people are not even ready to probe for reality. They continue to give Mr. Kejriwal numerous benefits of doubt. The conversation i had with that girl made me receptive to give a fair chance of evaluation and leave my blind-faith on Mr. Kejriwal. I also understood why people mockingly discard any news or article that attempts to reveal Mr. Kejriwals real intentions and true face. We needed a leader. Remember? and he filled that space, a space that was badly bruised and needed first-aid. We started to identify ourselves with his sharp activism. Now is it really easy to drop what we associate with? For example, for all the devotees of Aasaram Babu he was not wrong, although he is. They clung to the belief of him being framed and continued to falsify the truth. Please dont mistake me here, i am not comparing the two. I am comparing the intensity of peoples devotion to something they associate with. There are times when it is very difficult to let go of your fallen ideology. Your ego fights with your intellect to prove that what you once believed to be true can not change. I am not going to give you any evidence on why I feel and know that Mr. Kejriwal has sly motives. Social media is full of such data and proofs. I only request you to evaluate again and do some research on your own leaving aside your blind-faith and mind association with Mr. Kejriwals sayings. Why would all the nationalists and saints support Modi? Why would people like Kiran Bedi, E. Sreedharan, APJ Abdul kalam, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, General VK Singh, Chetan Bhagat openly talk against AAP and support Modi? It is a fact that a coalition government can not work efficiently. Our country needs a strong government at the center. Statements such as Kejriwals only aim is to cut down BJP votes. AAP is a B party of congress. Can such comments be blindly rejected as rumors? Shouldnt we evaluate in detail before casting our vote? It should not be too late! Therefore, i plead you to evaluate your Prime ministerial candidate before casting your vote and see things from various perspectives moving past your association with a persons ideology that has impacted many very profoundly. We all need to vote sensibly this time and not fall prey to dirty politics. We can not leave people rubbing the dust off their eyes after the elections.
