Have to rant against DELTA. What horrible customer service! They cancelled our flight home from vacation becuase of a plane malfunction. We had to stay overnight in the airport with the kids. No assistance with hotel or meals despite it being a problem with the plane. Gate agent said bad news, plane is broke. You all have to get off. and pointed us to a bank of phones rather than helping rebook. We were rebooked the next day into Sioux Falls rather than Omaha. Drove 3hrs in a one-way rental. Delta says they cant cover any of the additional expenses and offered a $100 flight voucher for our troubles, like I would ever use them again. To top it off, called customer service today in their office and was told no assistance would be forthcoming. She would not let me talk with a supervisor, and I was hung up on by the ever-helpful Cameron with customer support. Long story short, will always try to fly Southwest in the future.
