Have to vent - just went to my local Starbucks and they had a new trainee - the guy training him was so disrespectful to the guy - yelling at him, hitting the counter, so demeaning. I was impressed that the young trainee did not snap back - just continued to work. I ask for the manager and the person said that they had requested that the guy not treat him that way but to no avail. What happened to - you are fired or retrain the trainer. If this is how Starbucks treats their employees then they have lost a customer. I am asking that you pass this on in the hopes that they will take a serious look at how their employees treat trainees. I plan on calling the corporate office to let them know about my experience at this location. Thanks for letting me vent - hate it when people are treated poorly.
