Have you all seen the latest Fox News article on infant sleep?! I am APPALLED at the suggestions given by this article and book. Here is a podcast on the rebuttal of this article... Follow your intuition mamas, does it really feel right to leave your baby all night, forcing over feeding during the day and soothing them at night so they dont accept their hunger.... as an RD this makes me so mad I could scream! What HORRIBLE habits to start so early! This is plain ol binge and fast feeding habits.... beginning in infancy. This makes me scared for the future eating habits of these children, increasing the risk of obesity and/or eating disorders... I cant help but think of someone telling me I had to eat everything I wanted before noon and then couldnt eat for the rest of the day, Yikes at the stress and trauma that would cause me, especially as I learned better and ate as much as I could before noon! Clearly this study is based on bottle fed infants, given there is no way to over-feed a breastfed baby... your body and your baby are made to work together just as they should, trust the process! https://youtube/watch?v=e2PfSaHwSco
