Have you become a false Prophet? We have so many false Prophet - TopicsExpress

Have you become a false Prophet? We have so many false Prophet today. You maybe one of them. Jesus warned us that “false Christs and false prophets” will come and will attempt to deceive even God’s elect (Matthew 24:23-27; see also 2 Peter 3:3 and Jude 17-18). The best way to guard yourself against falsehood and false teachers is to know the truth. To spot a counterfeit, study the real thing. Any believer who “correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) and who makes a careful study of the Bible can identify false doctrine. For example, a believer who has read the activities of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in Matthew 3:16-17 will immediately question any doctrine that denies the Trinity. Therefore, step one is to study the Bible and judge all teaching by what the Scripture says. Jesus said “a tree is recognized by its fruit” (Matthew 12:33). When looking for “fruit,” here are three specific tests to apply to any teacher to determine the accuracy of his or her teaching: Today we have many claiming Jesus Christ is coming they have been given a sign or dream of Christ return. They are saying things that are not in the Bible. They go to the point to give a time table. Yet the bible said Matthew: Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh (Matt. 25:1-13). So those who claim Ison is a sign and the Lord Christ will have to rapture the church by mid January are spreading false prophecies, Just like those who use the blood moon or the preacher that claimed back in may 2011 the rapture will happen. These are all false prophecies. You are become a false prophet when you do this., With your false prophecies you are doing as satan wants. You are confusing others. Those who do this will have to give account of their actions. While the Bible does give the signs of his coming, and yes they are fulfilled. We still not do not the day or hour. It could be today, tomorrow, next week next month, etc we do not know. The Lord is not slack. This why Jesus said to work till he comes. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. (1 Timothy 4:13 ) We are to focuses on teaching the truth that other can grow, and to lead the unsaved to the Lord for Salvation. We are to read and study the Bible daily to grow in him. We are to keep looking up for his return. But we are not to put timetable on God almighty.. It all in God time not ours..
