Have you been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia, also known as Fibro or FMS is a condition of chronic pain and a multitude of other symptoms. If you have been feeling unwell and have pain throughout your whole body that lasts for weeks then you may have fibro. The problem with fibro is that it is impossible to diagnose with any blood test. It mimics other chronic conditions and therefore often goes undiagnosed. In my case my doctor thought I was faking it as i had so many symptoms that I couldnt fathom out and blood tests always came back as normal. I heard there is nothing wrong with you so many times I could have screamed! Of course there was something wrong with me I was in horrific pain 24/7, the pain ranged from shooting, sharp stabbing to dull aching pain. It moved around too which is a common symptom of fibro but of course I wasnt aware of this. These days it is far more accepted as being an illness. Some doctors feel the diagnosis of fibromyalgia is wrong and that it is just a blanket diagnosis to keep people happy.. Whatever the term you use Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS) is a life changing illness. Do you have fibro?
