Job Purpose: Develops and manages effective corporate social media and marketing strategies, supporting the growth of the Company’s global business. Demonstrates a broad spectrum of global marketing, PR, promotions and advertising ideation, planning and execution leadership, with particular focus in social media. Manages social media agency in developing long term vision, strategy and asset development that will drive community growth and engagement. Participates in the development of overall strategy and drives execution of total focus, 360-degree modular consumer marketing campaigns and oversees development of global creative, marketing and branding assets. Develops strategies that allow for localization and leads post analysis reporting. Responds to market needs as communicated primarily through the regional teams, and adapts strategies and materials in response to new learnings, market shifts and new opportunities. Knowledge, Skills and Ability: Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field (MBA preferred), plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in cross-functional corporate or agency environment required, including at least 3 years direct experience with social media. Experience with global marketing and video strategy required. Promotions and cosmetics, agency management and direct selling industry experience highly preferred. 1. Examples of proven, results-oriented, integrated social media campaigns, community growth and engagement expertise required. 2. The ideal candidate will bring proven social media and integrated marketing experience with a passion for social media and digital marketing. Critical to this position’s success is the ability to lead and inspire at a global level. Requires matrix management skills and the ability to lead others without direct managerial authority. Ability to influence at VP levels and above is essential to success in this position. 3. This role requires seasoned communications abilities to effectively communicate with and influence senior management as well as internal and external partners. Excellent judgment, diplomacy and strong collaboration skills are also required to work cross-culturally with subsidiary and regional teams. 4. Incumbent must demonstrate the ability to lead change, experience delivering business insights and marked presence, especially in high-pressure situations. Leadership presence and the ability to make a strong and commanding first impression are also important.
