Have you eaten breakfast this morning? Eating breakfast is important for many reasons, including supporting your adrenal glands! When you dont eat breakfast or you just have a coffee it creates a stress on your adrenals and also has an impact upon your blood sugar balance for the rest of the day! This means that you will experience less energy, more mood swings and a reduced ability to manage the daily stressors. Not to mention also affecting your metabolic rate and potentially contributing to sluggish bowels/digestion..Breakfast should include protein, healthy fats and healthy carbs and ideally be low in sugars ( if you are having cereal for breakfast, make sure you check the nutrition panel to see how much sugar it contains- many pre-prepared cereals are very high in sugar!)
