Have you ever felt like you cant go on? Like the problems you face - TopicsExpress

Have you ever felt like you cant go on? Like the problems you face are so overwhelming, theyve rendered you weak? I was reading Psalm 84 yesterday, and came across these verses; As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs.....They go from strength to strength. (verses 6-7) The Valley of Baka is also called the Valley of Weeping. Though the name may seem unusual to us, it is a place that we are all familiar with, for there comes a time or perhaps several times in our lives where we find ourselves in that valley. As the Israelites passed through the Valley of Baka, the psalmist tells us that they turned this valley into a place of springs. In those days, water, especially in the East, was considered precious and anyone who dug a well was considered a public benefactor. In our Valley of Weeping, we will find springs of Gods comfort, and therefore can use our difficult experiences to help benefit others. We do not have to dwell in the Valley of Weeping, because we only pass through it. The pain and sorrow we feel there will not last forever. Sometimes though, the pain is so great that we dread to think of tomorrow. We cant imagine how we could possibly help others when we dont even know how to get through today. But God has promised that He will give us the strength we need everyday. He gives strength today. He gives strength tomorrow, and again the next day. We go from strength to strength to strength until we reach our heavenly home. Can you trust God to give you strength for today? Then count on Him to give you the strength you need tomorrow. Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:5) Pastor Sabrina Reach Out
