Have you ever heard the old saying, “Where there’s life, there’s hope”? It sounds really smart, but I think they got it backwards. Life doesn’t always lead to hope, but hope always leads to life. Check out Psalm 126 verses 1-2—“When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion we were like men who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.” This is the story of hope fulfilled. Of a people set free to dream dreams. And the result is laughter and joy. What is your hope factor these days? Are you free to dream big dreams for God? Are you laughing at the ways He’s showed up and provided for you? Are you filled with the joy of living according to his God-sized plans? You are hardwired for hope and empowered by God. Go dream some crazy dreams for him. Where there is hope, there is life.
