Have you ever just taken a minute, after reading, say, the wisdom of Solomon, and said, Gee, I sure would like to have only one half of that mans wisdom? Well, my friend, dont let that dream wander too far from reality! God will give you whatever you ask for! Robert, now thats not right! Ive been asking for twenty years to be a deacon in my Church, and it hasnt happened yet! Ive made usher, now, but why hasnt God told my pastor of my hearts intentions? My friend, you just answered your own question! You have your heart so intent on being a deacon, you have set aside the most important matters: souls for Christ, and a sincere love to further the needs of your very own neighbor! Have you noticed who Solomon put first in his life? Correct, his God! Then, in humbleness of mind, wisdom, to guide a nation, Israel! Not a quick-pick, for a million dollars, or the correct lottery numbers for mega bucks, but guidance from above, to rule the best! Friend, I wanted so bad to go into the Peace Corps when I was eighteen! God looked down and said, Robert, thats what you want! I have a job for you which just fits the image and thoughts which I have instilled in your wonderful being! Gee, thanks God! And look where God has me now! I am overjoyed! What a wonderful family I have, both physical and spiritual! You are the best, Jesus! Id be in a gutter, without You! Bless God, others, then you! This way, you will never be blue! Sweet!
