Have you ever looked around in church and wondered, What am I missing?? Every Sunday I went to church; same time, same people, same place. Everything was familiar, but something was missing. I did everything I was asked to do. I taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school, I participated in Bible studies, I led the church fellowship, and I was a member of the church leadership team. One day,someone asked, Why do you do all this for the church? My enthusiastic response was, Because I love you guys! Thats a wonderful sentiment, but its not quite the right reason to be serving the church, the person replied. I didnt understand. Why was loving my friends not quite right? What was missing? God was missing. I did not have a personal relationship with GOD. So in,Bible studies, in worship, in prayer, in ministry, and in relationships with others, I began to seek GOD. Bottom line:: Serving in the church is not the same thing as loving GOD. Have a bless day fb friends
