Have you ever wondered what the Country Womens Association of NSW is all about. Or as you may know it the CWA. No it is not the Chin Wagers Association as I have often heard it called, and most definitely not all about tea and scones or knitting and crocheting. The following are just a few of the items on our agenda. (a) To bring all women and families together and form a network of support. (b) To provide a forum for the voice of all women in New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory. (c) To improve conditions and welfare of all women and families especially in country areas. (d) To support schemes which enhance the value of country living, especially health and educational facilities. (e) To encourage development in regional areas and to increase the viability of rural communities and the environment. (f) To provide a voice to Government at all levels. (g) To promote International goodwill friendship understanding and tolerance between all people. Why not pay us a visit and see if what we have to offer at Glenreagh branch is what you are looking for. Meeting at the CWA Rooms the 1st Tuesday of the month, 10am followed by morning tea. Members and visitors are always welcome. Friendship day every Monday from 10 til 3, bring your lunch and the craft you are working on or just come along for a chat. All welcome, membership not required to join us of a Monday.
