Have you seen any interesting wildlife in the Park? Today a great spotted woodpecker was seen on the fence around the picnic area enjoying the late afternoon sunshine. Butterflies are on the wing and the bluebells and cowslips are looking lovely! Yesterday green veined white, peacock, orange tip, small tortoiseshell, speckled wood and possibly holly blue butterflies were all seen in the Park. The cowslips are thriving in the wild flower meadow and are getting better every year! Thanks to Christine Darrington for the photo of the bluebells and the Warden for the photos of the cowslips and butterflies.
