Have you subscribed to the NIXLE Alert system? The St. Louis - TopicsExpress

Have you subscribed to the NIXLE Alert system? The St. Louis Police Department utilizes NIXLE to send messages instantly via the web, E-Mail, and text messages instantly to those registered for this service. This is a FREE SERVICE. The St. Louis Police Department utilizes NIXLE to alert the community of Emergencies (weather emergencies, traffic accidents, dangerous situations), Advisories (weather, road closures, important community alerts) and Community Events. We limit the amount of Community Events sent out via nixle. The Nixle service is primarily for important and pertinent information. We do not want to overwhelm our subscribers with every community detail to the point that the subscribers are annoyed with the service. Each person can tailor their subscription as to the type of notifications they receive, the method they receive the messages and even the times that they receive messages. It is very simple to use and sign up for. Our goal is to get every resident of St. Louis or person who works in St. Louis to subscribe to the NIXLE service. We already have a fair amount of people registered. We know that there are many more who have not taken advantage of this free service. Registration is simple. Go to nixle to create an account or simply text the St. Louis zip code (48880) to 888777 to sign up. If you go online, you can customize your account. If you need assistance, contact Sgt. Ramereiz at the St. Louis Police Department (989) 681-5285 or via email at rramereiz@stlouismi nixle/
