Have you watched the first episode of the new Cosmos? Its fantastic. I was so excited to think this was getting major network airtime that it made me cry at points. An awareness of the vastness of the universe & how we measure up & fit in it. And only one episode so far. And then theres this from the state where my brilliant little niece will be receiving her education for the foreseeable future. A mistake that oddly happened to filter out a controversial topic (which shouldnt be controversial to anyone with at least two brain cells to rub together) or mission creep from the American Taliban?
