Every two years, the 1000 kilometer, 9 day Guinness Book of World record race in Mongolia China opens up to just 35 riders around the world. I grew up riding and 9 days strapped to 25 different semi wild horses, running hard, sleeping outdoors with only 10 pounds of supplies sounds like an incredible physical and mental challenge and an even greater adventure.. Friday morning I woke up to an email with a ticket to ride. Felt like Christmas.. Given that a portion of the proceeds go to charity, between now and August, Ill be looking for donors, sponsors and as many different horses I can get my hands on. ..Bucket List..
