Having 6 kids wasnt ever really planned, it just happened to work out that way.I have never been ashamed of having 6 kids, but telling people how many kids I have never comes with out comments, and not all are bad!! I get many comments, like, you know what causes that, to are you trying to repopulate the earth alone? But then there are those who compliment you or say something kind. Being a divorced mother of six gets me a new line of questioning. Do they all have the same dad? Do they all live with you? You must not ever be able to do anything fun. Trust me, I spent a lot of time while going through my divorce, and now as I am dating, contemplating the probability of finding, dating, and possibly one day getting remarried was going to be near impossible because of my 6 greatest blessings. Time has proven me right, and wrong. I get it, trust me I do. 6 kids is a ton of work, but its my work, and I LOVE it!! Having a large family isnt for everyone, but it is for me. It has its ups and downs, and being a single mom has made it even harder, but I wouldnt trade it. I grow stronger because of my calling to be the mother to those 6 wonderful, delightful little people.
