Having a wee wobble at the thought of Wednesday and saying goodbye - TopicsExpress

Having a wee wobble at the thought of Wednesday and saying goodbye to the end of an era. The last 8 years have been the hardest, but most wonderful, of my life. Couldnt believe I was so lucky when Owen and Aidan were born and our family was complete (lol). Then we spent 6 months surviving on a maximum of 4 hours sleep a night as myself and Billy split the night to give them the 24hr care they demanded! Then we got a surprise package 2 years later when our wee Rowan joined the family... and then ANOTHER double surprise just 13 month later when we were gifted with our gorgeous pests, Elliot and Isla. I couldnt go anywhere in the car, because how do you safely get 5 kids aged 3 and under in and out of a car?... thank goodness for my wonder buggy or I would have been housebound! What a task getting everyone up and fed and washed to walk the mile and a half to get the boys to nursery every morning! and all the nappy changing... and feeding... it was a production line!! Thank you to my wonderful big kids, Lyndsy Faichney, Conor Faichney, Corey Faichney, and Aimee Faichney who have put up with so much that they didnt ask for, and who have helped out tons. Thank you Laura Lawson for joining the merry mayhem! Thank you Dad (Colin Brown) for paying for the little kids to have 2 sessions at the childcare centre every week when they were little which kept me just about sane through the worst of the chaos, and thank you Heather Auld and the Poppyview team for taking such good care of my little people in the early days.... Thank You to you all, and everyone else who has grabbed a wailing child at events, held a hand as Ive only 2 and generally listened to my moans with sympathy!! So au revoir to Poppyview, Methil Toddlers, Fishbowl Nursery, Paxtons... were off to school in 2 sleeps... and Mum is planning to slouch on the couch with a huuuge cream cake!!!
