Having experienced severe anxiety most of my life I really understand what a problem it is. Medications can help but usually only for a short time with a lot of bad side effects and people who do not have problems with either anxiety or depression too often think that they know the answer, Whether in pray, meditation or exercise or the right foods. But, in fact, there are no easy answers. Sympathetic support is perhaps the best you can do as a friend or family member.
