Having lived here in the Algarve for 16 years something just happened that has totally shocked me ...i was leisurely riding my motorcycle when i was pulled over at a police roadblock by having a gun pointed at my head and shouted at get off the bike get off the bike !!!!! Apparently the reason for this animalistic behavior was that I should have had my lights on ( in broad daylight ) !?!?! I am so shocked that I didnt get his name !! I was fined 60 euros (cash) And when I voiced my opinion about having a loaded weapon pointed at my head he just lit up a cigarette smiled and took a personal call on his mobile phone !!!! Not even sure I want to live here anymore What a complete and utter joke this place can be ! Give a twenty year old a gun and a badge and he thinks hes in a movie or something !!! I AM IN COMPLETE SHOCK !!
