Having observed various political spheres for about 15 years now, its very disturbing to me how much groupthink and voluntary self-blinding (ie. replacing otherwise obvious facts of the state of the world, economics, the reprehensible behavior of politician or figurehead X, Y , Z.... etc) there is in political groups, especially of the more extremist varieties. How do you guys (and gals, where applicable) suggest helping people out of the chains of ideological foolishness/memes? Is this at all possible, or is it something that entirely depends on the person itself to do and achieve? Discuss or cuss.
