Having parrots is truly one of the greatest blessings in my life, but sometimes you see them looking out and you wonder what they are thinking feeling, you want them to have a happy life. They cant survive out there without you because they werent taught the skills they needed to survive as babies. Every now and again when they are outside and looking around there is such a pang of grief for what we have done to them. No toys, no treats , no love can ever replace their freedom. Parrots are not domesticated, not at all like dogs/cats. And unless you had a cage 100 miles wide you can never give them the true gift of flight.
