But by way of a reality check I was walking to the car I was called back to be involved with getting a soldier extracted from the exercise and moved by 25 Flight to Nairobi so he could catch an aircraft to the UK to be at the bedside of his very sick wife. This involved at least 6 Aircrew, 2 aircraft, Ops staff, RAF refuellers, clerks, Liaison Officers and many more people, all for a soldier we had never met and are unlikely to see again.
