Having seen nearly all Sittingbourne’s away games this season, - TopicsExpress

Having seen nearly all Sittingbourne’s away games this season, here’s my very personal high – and low – lights. Best trip: Guernsey. Hope to go there again next season when it’s not dark and raining. Most exciting win: Thamesmead in the FA Cup with Tom Loynes a brilliant stand-in goalkeeper. Most enjoyable win: Crawley Down Gatwick because it had been a long wait since the previous away win. Best goal: A lot of good ones, such as Nick Dunsdon (Thamesmead), Ryan Golding (Ramsgate), Tom Brunt (Burgess Hill) but Joe Taylor’s winner at Redhill on Saturday is hard to beat. Easiest win: Walton & Hersham – for the second season in a row. Most disappointing moment: The referee ordering a retake after Adam Molloy’s penalty save at Hastings. Most disappointing defeat: Burgess Hill, obviously, though losing at Horsham also sticks in the mind. Worst moments: The treatment of Luke Girt – kicked on the ground at Worthing, assaulted off the ball at Leatherhead and punched in the face after the game at Eastbourne.
