Due to an increase in projects there is a vacancy for a motivated HSE Officer based in Sydney with travel from site to site required. You will be responsible for implementing the existing HSE system in place, you will keep up to date with current legislation, policies and procedures. To be considered for this role you must have experience in residential development building construction whereby you have worked for a project homes builder or residential builder. You will also have a Cert IV in OHS, training and assessment and supporting auditing and investigating training and experience is preferred. This is a hands on role which will entail getting out and about to each site and building relationships with the site staff to promote a zero harm culture and effective communication regarding HSE requirements. Communication is key so you must have an approachable and consultative personality that can deal with all levels of staff. The ability to use Microsoft office efficiently and write good reports will be very beneficial.
