He added massive amounts of debts, wasted hundreds of millions on the SDI (Star Wars Defense), illegally fired all the air traffic controllers in the U.S., illegally sold Iran arms, made deals with drug-dealers (the Iran-Contra affair, along with Oliver North), started legislation that led to the S&L crisis in the late 1980s, was a huge fan of trickle-down economics (which has since been proven false, earned the nick-name voodoo economics, and led to massive concentrations of wealth in the hands of a few), created large amounts of nuclear waste, cut infrastructure spending, created the myth of the welfare queen with a Cadillac, blamed AIDS on the LGBT community, and made decisions based on advice from his wife, which was based on her astrologist, and was shown later to be showing the signs of early Alzheimers Disease. This man is a true American hero.
