He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. - John 1:11-12 The clear promise is that everyone who receives Jesus Christ becomes a child of God, a member of God’s family, by accepting God’s word; not because of any personal merit, or being better or different from anybody else; because scripture tells us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is nothing in you to deserve being accepted into God’s family and being made His child, but if you receive Christ, and believe in His name, you have the right to become a child of God. No matter what kinds of decisions you have to make, consider God. He is the very best you could ever have! Seek Him with your whole heart, confirm His perfect will for your life. Let Him lead you into the life of blessing and victory He has for you.
