He cooked me a gorgeous Sunday roast yesterday. He took me to - TopicsExpress

He cooked me a gorgeous Sunday roast yesterday. He took me to award-winning Dennis Of Bexley for lunch today and got me roast duck in fruits of the forest for this evening (which tastes quite astonishing). I think he wants something from me. Either that or Ive pleased him in some way. Im fairly sure that I saw him vaguely semi-smile earlier. You can never be certain with Nick. He looks the same whether hes approximately smiling or hes partially not-quite looking stern. But, either way, I think that its time I went back to Brighton for a couple of days. Id hate to overexert his facial muscles unneccesarily. So, with very deep regret, some time tomorrow, Im going to leave this beautiful Castle, in this astonishing, friendly and charming little village. I only came here, as soon as I did, because Duke Chris wasnt able to get to Brighton for that gay weekend, so I saw absolutely no reason to subject myself to the kind of poofery that occurs during gay weekends down there, but I ended up staying here almost a fortnight. It wasnt easy to manage staying here. Lots of work I should have been doing in Brighton has been postponed and Nick has had to be quite creative in finding ways for me to be productive here in order for me to not have to go back there. Hes been simply wonderful to me, as always, knowing how I want to spend as much time as I can here, I was hoping to make it an entire fortnight here, but a day or two short isnt the end of the universe. I would have had to, obviously, be back for Wednesday anyway. I hope to see some of you in Brighton over the next few days. After that, I shall come back here for my last ever stay in the Castle, before I lose this place forever. Im not going to dwell on that, for now
