He gives us an example of Who He Is, in the Law (Torah, Genesis - Deuteronomy). That we might have even a teeny INKLING of HIS HOLINESS. HIS HOLINESS COULD NOT BE DESCRIBED IN ALL THE BOOKS, EVER, IN ALL THE WORLD. So He gave us a head start, the ones who will hear and believe and walk in the Way. He gives us His Law and He gives us His Son, the Word, who was made flesh to fulfill the Law, that we might be made free to LIVE IN AND UNTO HIM, the abundant life. He tells us what He will bless and what He will curse. He gives us full opportunity to choose our own way, but in those words in that book He also promises what we can expect (to reap, our reward, our due judgement), whether we choose His Way or not. The choice is yours, to follow or not. Why not try, have some childlike faith, seek Him, and the more, seek to understand His statutes, to understand where you have erred, be tender to repent as He shows you and purpose to walk in His way. He will give you His Spirit to lead you and increase in you as you seek Him the more. He will not fail you if you will follow Him. There will be hard times, testing, proving if you will continue in the faith. Be strong and courageous. Blessing and Shalom.
