He is only about to do us good and lead us into the most excellent life and His path. Simply listen and follow whether we see or agree. When we dont trust His leading we cause ourselves much hurt just as the children of Israel who hardened their hearts and chose their own path. It led to much destruction and death. God gives us the right to choose, so if we sow to our flesh and reap the things of the flesh, we brought them on our ownselves by disregarding the Word of God, the voice of the Spirit, and was unwilling to believe and accept the fact that...God the Father always knows whats best and if we will learn to surrender, yield, and trust Him He can and will bring us to the most excellent life that is above anything we could ever think or imagine. We need to put on our spiritual eyes and get our eyes off of the natural way. So today...Who are we identifying with? Are we following in the Lords steps and being transformed into His image, or is our identity wrapped up in the world or the things of the world? The word says we will know them by their fruits. What kind of fruit are we developing and producing? Fruits of righteousness and right living? Or fruit full of death and decay, perishing and producing no life? In truth, He disciplines us because He loves us and is trying to get our attention that His way is the most excellent and He wants to bless, prosper us, and wants us to live a life that is so awesome and that It is in the Word that He has given us and that if we will choose to live according to His word and the Holy Ghost that He will bring it to completion. He said I set before you Life or Death choose. It is in the choosing that we learn to live. Every time something in life comfronts us and we have decisions to make...we have to choose Gods word as our guide and move and stand on it. It will produce life and good. When we choose our own path...We miss the good things that God wants us to receive. We stand in the way of our own happiness, blessings; the most blessed life. We reap the burdens and hardships that death, selfishness, and darkness produce and end up living a life so beneath the good life that is Gods will for all of us to live. And we can be born again and never ever experience all the things that Jesus suffered and died for us to experience. Saved yet wandering around in the wilderness never actually becoming free and entering into the Lords rest. So every time He speaks...let us learn to yield and follow His direction. When we do...We are blessing ourselves by positioning ourselves to receive from an awesome all knowing and all seeing God who is able to supply our every need. He is trying to get them to us...trying to get our attention. Look up, choose wisely, choose life and begin to live.
