He really is worthy of night and day worship and prayer!!! Maintaining a prayer-room that is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days of the year, is probably the most challenging thing we have ever done in all our ministry years. At the same time it has been the most rewarding mandate the Lord has allowed us to do for Him and for His glory. This morning Emily and I received a very encouraging email from our night watch leader of how the continual prayer and worship in our prayer-room to the Lord is blessing people who are not only part of our community but also those from the outside as well. You will be blessed by this testimony below. Hello courageous leaders! I want to share with you a story that happened Wednesday morning at 4am. Hopefully it will encourage you as it did the night watch to remain faithful in night and day worship and prayer. At four in the morning an older women with 4 children all under the age of 18 came in with their phones out taking pictures in awe of the reality that we were open 24/7. They all sat in the front row together with their phones out recording Pedro and Eddies WWTW. The lady came to me after 30 minutes and asked about OHOP and kept saying how she has never heard of such ministry. I asked her how she heard of OHOP and she began to share how she and her pastors children are from TX and were in Florida for vacation/Disney. In their time here they haven’t gone to church and the oldest of the children (17yrs) told her that they needed to go to some church to drink because they needed to drink from God. He looked online for a church and he found OHOP, saw that it was 24/7 and he couldn’t believe it. He immediately decided that it was OHOP they needed to come to. He woke her up at 3am and the other children tagged along. She tried telling him lets go at a more convenient time and then we can go to Disney and he responded, “LETS GO! MOM THIS PLACE IS MY DISNEY!”. One thing that was funny was her asking me if the pastor was white and I told her no hispanic she immediately wanted to see a picture and was astonished of how young both of you are. She took a lot of brochures…even the life group ones. She called her son-in-law (the pastor in TX) and expressed her awe of the place and how he needed to check it out because he was a musician. Before they left they wanted me to pray for them and were super blessed by the reality that we never stop ministering to the Lord. BECAUSE WE NEVER STOP HUNGRY AND THIRSTY PEOPLE HAVE THEIR DISNEY AVAILABLE TO FASCINATE, ENTERTAIN, FEAST AND DRINK FROM! THANK YOU FOR SAYING YES! OUR GOD IS WORTHY!
