In effect, Israel—along with uncritical mainstream media that unquestionably accept this discourse—dehumanizes Palestinians, deprives them even of their victimhood and legitimizes egregious human rights and legal violations. As with the Russian/Ukraine situation, the Israeli/Palestinian conundrum suffers from equal propanganda in the US media, which seldom asks tough questions. Maybe it doesnt know what questions to ask? But it certainly knows how to tow the party line. Anyone who thinks the Americans and Israelis are more honest, and less likely to use propaganda for their own ends than the Russians and Palestinians, is living in cloud cuckoo land. As usual, most people hear what they want to hear, and believe what they want to believe. Nothing is ever black and white, but mostly grey --something that many folks cant handle because they like easy answers.
