He takes the number one spot So as much as I dont want to admit it Edwin Strickland is moving into the number one spot. I havent officially called it off with the other guy but Im intentionally unavailable. When we do talk Im constantly comparing him to Edwin and hes coming up way short. Which always gives me space to start another argument because after all I need my weekends free, right? LOL. My friends are starting to be a little curious about Edwin just because theyve never seen me be so ….nice…. or so into one guy. In the 6th week on a Wednesday I come down some kind of bug and Im pretty sick. In fact, Im so sick I miss his morning call. When I talk to him after his classes Im certain that I must sound like death becomes her. He tells me he has to go to work and hell check on me during his break. Exactly 3 hours laters, there is a knock on the door. I open it to find Edwin standing there with chicken soup and orange juice. Thats right he drove 2.5 hours to bring me soup and OJ. Who does that? He warmed the soup up, gave me juice and went to the store to get me medicine. He stayed with me a couple of hours and then he drove back home because he had a test the next morning. And guess what? On Friday he was right back on the hill for the weekend again. In case you are wondering hes officially taken the #1 spot. He might not be perfect but hes pretty amazing.
