He was our captain, my captain, who wished us good morning during the war. He was the visitor from far off worlds, who gave us our happiest days. He was the doctor who patched up our hearts, the nanny who cared for us. He was the andrew who showed us how to be human, the scrapper whose heart was gold. He was the least likely president, and also the one who was thrust upon with greatness. He was the lover who traveled to the very hells for his wife, in what would be just a dream for some. He was the father who became the hero, to save his children in a land of never growing up. He was the teacher who sung us what love means, the priest who strengthened that love. He was the wild man who saved us from the game, the wish maker who was set free. Robin McLaurin Williams, you sir will be missed. May you find your place in the stars, for you will always be in our hearts.
