Head of Mashhad Teachers Guild Association arrested radiozamaneh/110892#.UpHwouIl8fg On Saturday morning, Nov. 23rd Hashem Khastar a retired teacher and the head of Mashhad Teachers Guild Association was arrested and transferred to the citys Vakil Abad Prison after he referred to Mashhads Revolution Court, department for carrying out sentences. He was summoned to the court. The head of the court ordered Hashem to pay 20 million rials (about $800) fine without him being imparted of the sentence or being allowed to see it in writing. Mr. Khastar didnt accept the sentence and denied that he was guilty. For that he was first taken to Revolution Courts detention center and then was transferred to Vakil Abad Prison about 2 pm.
