Heading: Evelyn Adkins Morgan Dateline: Spartanburg Evelyn Adkins Morgan, 86 of 1664 Old Canaan Road, passed away Wednesday June 19, 2013 at her home. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Fleet L. and Annie Justice Adkins. She was the wife of Ned Randolph Morgan Sr., a member of Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church, a retired employee of Powell Knitting Mill and a member of The Eastern Star. Survivors in addition to her husband of the home include four daughters, Sheila Slemons of Woodruff, Becky Floyd of Spartanburg, Joyce Wilson of Boiling Springs, Denise Cotheran of Spartanburg; one son, Ned Randolph Morgan Jr. of Woodruff; thirteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday June 22, 2013 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Scott Floyd, Rev. Robert Blanton and Rev. Richard Thomas. The family will receive friends immediately following the Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Interim Hospice 155 Deacon Street- Duncan, SC 29334.
