Heading out in a few minutes to lay my FIL to rest. Interesting tradition we have developed. Knowing this is only the shell of the person, why do we make such a fuss? This patriarch will be missed but only for a little while. We will all be together again in Heaven. I guess this tradition stuff may have come from those who dont have the hope of Jesus. Reminds us why we are share the message of Jesus love for us, that He died to pay the price for our sin, and that if we will accept His gift we too will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. May I be found faithful in sharing His message.
