Headline : HSBC tightens rules on cash withdrawals : Well Mr Hong Kong. Shanghai. Banking Corporation, does this not show that you greedy bastards are still continuing to be a law unto yourselves ????? Just imagine the embarrassment of the chap who walked into his branch and wanted to withdraw £5K+ to repay a loan off his mother and the bank refused to pay out,haggling him down to £3K towards the total ( THIS HIS HIS OWN MONEY HE HAD DEPOSITED WITH THEM ). They tried the same thing with me when I changed my car last year until I reminded them that it was mine and other depositors who kept them in a comfy job and there were plenty of other financial institutions ready to accept my transfer (and pay me for switching over). So all I can say is Adieu HSBC I shall take my little savings elsewhere and I,ll see you next week to effect the change. Maybe all of their customers should consider doing something similar.
