BREAK: Sen. Reid/Chinese govt takeover of ranch for solar farm? There is enough crap and risk here, that it is time for the feds to step back, leave the cattle alone, and have an independent arbitrator have a serious and transparent investigation here. Do people need to die over this? Whos interests are being defended, promoted, attacked here? Who owns the land? What is the agreement? Are multiple fees being demanded? Has BLM failed in its obligations to any agreements. Why the sudden crisis? The has been going on for over a century. The dispute is two decades old. There are lots of claims, counter-claims, and accusations--some going as high as Harry Reid. Lets remove the military (or quasi-military), leave the cows alone, de-escalate, and have open and transparent hearings where all the facts, policies, and issues are placed before the public. If anyone dies here, it is due to unnecessary escalation. We can step back, and proceed like civilized human beings. The crisis is artificial. No one is in immediate danger--except for the militarization of this. Cell towers ae shut down? Really? What country is this?
