Health Care Questions Answered at TV 7 & 4 Community Forum TRAVERSE CITY, MI Questions and concerns, deadlines and requirements associated with the federal Affordable Care Act. Here’s an opportunity to find some answers. TV 7 & 4 and UpNorthLive will host a televised community forum entitled “Understanding Health Care Reform” on Monday, Sept. 30 from 7 – 8 p.m. News anchor Kristen Lowe will host the live program in front of a studio audience gathered at the Milliken Auditorium at Northwestern Michigan College, while co-anchor Marc Schollett will staff an expert panel featuring Jeff Rubleski from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan and Marti Lolli of Priority Health back at the 7 & 4 studio. The panel will answer questions about the new health care regulations from the audience, by call-in to the television station, and online and via Twitter. Pre-registration is encouraged for the studio audience because of limited seating, but attendance is free. Members of the studio audience at NMC are encouraged to arrive by 6:45 p.m. for introductions and seating arrangements before the 7 p.m. air time. Audience members will also be able to access informational resources that will be available at Milliken Auditorium, and meet with local health professionals who can answer questions on how to access the health care marketplace under the new regulations. After the hour-long broadcast, the question-and-answer session will continue in a live chat on the UpNorthLive web site. Partners in the community forum include the Traverse City Area Chamber, Northwestern Michigan College and Munson Healthcare, along with TV 7 & 4, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan and Priority Health.
