Health Care for PROFIT is an abomination. It creates EVIL. Other countries get this and we do not. Resources may indeed be limited. So we have been told by those setting the prices. But selling adequate care to the highest bidder is not the sane way to apportion it because it creates a totally insane system. Remember, we are the country of The Ford Pinto, where a cheaper gas tank (approx. $50/car) was deliberately weighed against an estimated settlement of $100,000 per wrongful death suit and the cheaper gas tank won. And they were all very sorry when they were exposed. That has not changed. Remember that when getting outraged. Its systemic, not localized. The love of money is the root of all evil. So is using monetary evaluations to make ethical decisions. P.S. I have not vetting these statistics. I am offering it for discussion.
