Health Food Devotional No Comparison! November 24, 2014 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. (Num. 13:30) In Numbers chapter 13, we read that twelve spies were sent to spy out the land of Canaan. Ten of them brought back an evil report; they came back talking doubt. They said, We cant take the land. We arent able to do it. But two of the spies, Joshua and Caleb, said, Let us go up at once and possess it. For we are well able to overcome it. That means, We can do it! You know, the crises of life come to all of us. Dont think you are just going to float through life on flowery beds of ease. But my faith has been buoyed up and my confidence strengthened by just simply looking that problem, test, or trial in the face and saying, Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Then I begin shouting about it. While Im shouting, I look around and the problems are all gone. If you measure the disease or sickness—or test or trial—youre going through against God and His ability rather than against you and your ability, there will be no comparison! There would be no more comparison than there would be between an elephant and an ant! Confession Sickness and disease are no match for God. He is greater than sickness. He is greater than disease. And I am well able to overcome, because greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world! Source: Health Food Devotions by Kenneth E. Hagin.
