Health Update! I am recovering well from the July 8 Lumpectomy. Thank you for all your prayers and loving thoughts. At my post surgery appointment it was confirmed that my lymph nodes are clear and this is GREAT news! However, the pathology report indicated that the margins of the tumor and surrounding tissue were not clear of cancerous/precancerous cells. So...I am going in to surgery for round 2 tomorrow morning, July 30, so that the surgeon can scoop out a bit more tissue. I would ask that you pray once again for the hospital staff, the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and the surgeon who will be occupying my sphere tomorrow and for complete healing. I am at peace and am not worried because I have Gods everlasting presence in my life through Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. xoxo
