Health care provider expands in Franklin County SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A local home health care provider has opened up a new office to meet a rising demand for services in Franklin County. O’Connell Care at Home opened up their second location in South Deerfield on Wednesday. The home health care provider says they’ve seen an increase in demand for services and opened another office to increase accessibility. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says the social assistance sector is supposed to grow through 2022 due to the demand for health care workers to address the needs of an aging population. O’Connell Care at Home has aids that will go to your home with a two hour minimum to around the clock care. Danielle Lord, the Vice President of Operations, told 22News, “There are certainly jobs available. We have per diem positions we have full time positions and we are looking for qualified home health aids.
