Healthcare Legislation to Celebrate! In 2014, PPO insurance carriers are required by law to send insurance payments directly to all providers whether or not they participate in their PPO insurance plan. What this means to our patients who have PPO insurance such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Concordia, and Delta Dental, is that we will be better able to assist you in maximizing your benefits. We will have direct access to information about your plan which was not previously available to us. This will enable us to more closely estimate your out of pocket payment and we will only require your out of pocket portion at the time of service. The insurance company will pay your contracted benefit to us directly. This new legislation will help us to help you get the dental care you deserve.
