Three prominent Northeastern Leaders were brutally beaten up by barbaric lawyers inside the Court complex of TIS HAZARI COURT DELHI on 23 May 2014. they are Maivio Woba, President, Naga Students Union Delhi, Liyi, senior lawyer (Arunachal pradesh) Rachubui Pame, President, Zeliangrong Students Union Delhi. they were attending the court along with the victim who was molested by a pervert lawyer the previous night. the accused along with other lawyers started assaulting Maivio inside the courtroom in the presence of the Judge who was just helpless. the policemen were just mere spectators. then when Rachubui came with some of his friends, more than 30 bloodthirsty lawyers thrashed him in front of the police. our senior lawyer LIYI was also assaulted when she tried to help. those lawyers threatened to kill Maivio in the presence of the judge and many senior officials who were too scared and indifferent even to intervene. the culprits are still roaming around free and arrogant. so let us come and protest in front of the BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA to cancel the license of those hooligans. they should be put behind the bar.... so please come and join the rally. let us show the world how angry we are. so that these things may not happen again. today it happened to them... tomorrow it could happen to you and me.......
